The Parent class is designed to keep parents aware of the various rules and regulations that are in placed to ensure their child’s safety while driving with a learner’s permit. The parent class is mandatory for everyone under the age of 18 and the certificate is valid for 5 years. The 2-hour course is usually offered once a month at our Route 6 location and effective May 1st of 2019, the RMV requires that all students under the age of 18 must first complete a parent class before any observations or road lessons can begin.
Your child does not need to attend the parent class and one or both parents are welcome to attend but space is limited due to COVID-19 occupancy restrictions. Below is a list of our upcoming parent class schedule.
